Noah Fant, Denver Broncos (TE #12, ADP #115)
Ever since he stole the show at the 2019 NFL Combine, I’ve been convinced that Noah Fant will become the league’s next superstar tight end. There are not many 250 lb. men on this planet who can run 40 yards in 4.5 seconds, Noah Fant is one of them.
During his rookie season, Fant proved that he wasn’t just a workout warrior. He finished 1st in catches and yards among all rookie tight ends last year. Fant’s big-play ability also helped him finish 2nd among all tight ends with 14 YPC (yards per catch). Check out his Week 9 TD below, which tied for the longest reception by a tight end in 2019.
Fant has a lot going for him in year 2. Fellow 2019 draft pick Drew Lock (QB) will head into the season as THE guy in Denver, and as THE guy, I fully expect him to utilize Fant’s incredible size/speed combination to push the ball down the field.
The Extra Point: After an efficient rookie season, I expect the Broncos to increase Fant’s target share in order to really maximize his potential. I believe Fant has the talent and opportunity to become a top-5 tight end in 2020.
